Biography
Mary Crumbie was born in Methuen, Massachusetts on March 28, 1735. "By tradition a sister of Lieut. James Crumbie of Rindge, New Hampshire." [1]
Mary Crumbie and Jonathan Sherwin married on Feb 15, 1756, [1] The Bradford Vital Records records both this date and Mar 18, 1756. The February date was likely the publishing of intentions and March was the marriage. [2]
They settled in Rindge, New Hampshire and had ten children. [1]
Mary died on May 25, 1784 and Jonathan remarried. [1]
She is buried at Meeting House Cemetery in Rindge. [3]
