Biography

Thomas Cromwell was a member of the aristocracy in England.

b. c.1540, 3rd s. of Gregory, 1st Baron Cromwell, by Elizabeth, da. of Sir John Seymour of Wilts., wid. of Sir Anthony Ughtred. Half-bro. of Henry Ughtred. educ. St. John’s, Camb. 1553. m. Aug. 1580, Katherine (d.1615 or 1616), da. of Thomas Gardner of Coxford, 5s. 4da.1

In the will of Thomas Cromwell, of Kings Lynn, Norfolk, esquire, proved 29 April 1611, his wife Katherine was to be to be sole executrix. He also mentioned his eldest son Henry, eldest daughter Mary, sons Thomas, Humphrey, Edward, and Gregory, and daughters Elizabeth, Katherine, and Anne. ^[1]
