Little is known of Joseph Cronk, his origins, or the circumstances of his arrival in Nova Scotia. He first appears in a July 1784 muster roll for Digby Township heading a household with nine members.[1] He also appears heading a household in the 1795 Digby Census.[2] There are no other known sources for the earliest Cronks of Nova Scotia, beyond online family trees[3] and the records of his children.

mentions that loyalists moved from New York before/ during the revolution. Problems- we don't have much specific information. They both have child named Elizabeth, a pretty common name.
