Biography

Abner Crosby was born about 1774 in Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[1]

On November 8, 1798, Abner married Hannah Bradley, also of Massachusetts.[2]

In 1800, Abner and Hannah lived in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, in a household of five persons, including a male aged 26-44, a female aged 16-25, a male under age 10, a male aged 16-25, and a female under age 10. [3]

In 1810, Abner and Hannah lived in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, in a household of 12 persons, including a male under 10, a male 10-15, two males 16-25, a male 26-44, four females under 10, one female 10-15, one female 16-25, and one female 26-44.[4]

On August 7, 1820, Abner and Hannah were living in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, in a household of ten persons, including one male under 10, one male 10-15, one male 16-25, one male 26-44, two females under 10, three females 16-25, and one female 26-44.[5]

Abner's wife Hannah passed away on February 22, 1829.[6]

In 1830, Abner lived in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, in a household of seven persons, including a male 15-19, a male 50-59, a female 10-14, a female 15-19, and three females aged 20-29.[7]

In 1840, Abner lived in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, in a household of eight persons, including a male 60-69, a male 40-49, a male 15-19, a male 10-14, a male 5-9, a female 30-39, a female 20-29, and a female 5-9.[8]

On July 27, 1850, Abner was 75 years old, living in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, and a wagonmaker.[9]

Abner passed away on March 26, 1851, in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.[10][11] He is buried in Stockbridge Cemetery, Stockbridge, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, USA.[10]
