Biography

When Paige Crosby was born on December 1, 1918, in Otsego, Michigan, her father, Earl Crosby, was 28, and her mother, Iolin, was 22[1] Paige was the youngest of three girls, and was born after her mother miscarried a son.

They lived in Otsego, Michigan.[2] In 1930 her mother divorced her father.[3] and the girls were raised by their father.[4] In the late 1930's Paige moved to Goshen, Indiana to live with her mother, as she indicated on her marriage license on 18 Nov. 1938 to Edward Gave (Gove).[5]. She had one daughter, Annette Gave, who is still alive. By 1940, the family had moved back to Michigan, and resided with Paige's mother, Iolin who had separated from her second husband, Clifford Hazell. [6]. Edward and Paige, lived in Kalamazoo, Michigan. [7][8] They moved to Paw Paw, Michigan before 1970[9]

Paige Crosby died on November 6, 1982, in Paw Paw, Michigan, when she was 63 years old.[10][11] She was buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Paw Paw, Van Buren County, Michigan.[12]
