I just approved the merge of our information on Riley George Crosby. However, my research indicates that Riley was born on 29 Dec 1870. That said, I have conflicting evidence on DOB. Both his Massachusett Mason's Card and Naturalization Card of a DOB: 29 Dec 1870. However, Grace E Cann Crosby's Divorce decree has Riley's DOB as 29 Dec 1869 and other documents may be suggesting 1871. I'm relatively new to genealogy exploration. My father was involved with it for many years prior to his passing. I have some of his information, but don't have all of his supporting documents and evidence he collected over the years. So I'm relying on what I can find on Ancestry, this site and others.
Hi Deric - I finally got a chance to add sources to this. The birth date question gets even more confused when you look at the 1871 census - it lists a birth date of March 1871. Unfortunately I can't find any actual birth record for him.
