Biography
In the 1850 census taken 28 Nov 1850, for Hanover Co., , VA, Thomas Cross (age 60) was head of household that included six other Crosses: Mary (age 50), Elizabeth (age 30), Maria (age 20), Henry (age 21), William (age 12), and Walter (age 14).
In the 1860 census for St. Paul's Par., Hanover Co., VA, H. J. Cross (age 32 and b. in VA) was head of a household. Living with him was L. E. Cross (a female age 23 and b. in VA).
Harrison Cross (age 38) was head household in 1870 in Hanover Co., VA. Lucy Cross (age 30) and Rosa Robertson (age 9) were living in the house.
