I was born in Gadsden, Alabama and currently reside in Etowah County, Alabama. I graduated from Jacksonville State University with a teaching degree (History) in 2015. I have taught in the special education field and am currently teaching math.
I currently cannot trace farther back on the following people:
Connections to Kings: Kevin is 19 degrees from Martin King, 19 degrees from Barbara Ann King, 19 degrees from George King, 22 degrees from Philip King, 26 degrees from Truby King, 21 degrees from Louis XIV de France, 20 degrees from King Charles III Mountbatten-Windsor, 16 degrees from Amos Owens, 19 degrees from Gabrielle Roy, 24 degrees from Richard Seddon, 29 degrees from Pometacom Wampanoag and 35 degrees from Charlemagne Carolingian on our single family tree. I noticed that you recently edited the profile for James Akins, removing him from the Unsourced|North Carolina category as a 'minor correction'.
The FamilySearch profile displayed links back to the FindAGrave profile, which produces no sources and is being maintained by an individual who was caught faking wills and headstones – I have not seen any real sources pointing to his existence, which concerns me.
Could you please double check if there are any other, reliable, sources which point to this man's existence, and that of other members in his family?
Thank you.

Apparently there are legitimate headstones for many families in the cemetery where James Akins seems to be buried, and they do have crudely-imagined crests engraved (see the link I provided in the disclaimer for the FindAGrave source).
There are many points of information listed on the FindAGrave biography but they all come across as 'maybes' and I was unable to find those sources on Ancestry trees, especially the hoaxer's own, while I had my subscription. Reading through the link about his hoaxing attempts, it sounds like he's also tried faking more than just headstones and wills which doesn't sound hard to believe.
The few sources that are shared on Ancestry don't appear to be relevant and at least one could be assigned to a man who died later (typical), so I edited them off the current profile.
I am hesitant to make direct mention of the hoaxer because I don't know what an appropriate level of discussion for tackling the situation would be... so for now I just keep a watchful eye.
Anyway thanks for looking again.
I see you edited my grandfather's page (Grayson Haller). Would you please let me know what you edited? Are we related? Thank you, Amy
I have noticed that you have been editing my family's information. I was wondering if you are related? It is the Sandlin family... Nannie , Bessie, Nicklas

One of my areas of genealogy concentration is the Rowlett family, I received a notice that you edited the biography of Jeanette Rowlett Ingram. If it's okay with you, I will see if I can connect her to the global tree. I followed her information on find a grave and census records and see that she is a descendant of William B. Chappel Rowlett of Prince Edward, VA. The Rowletts of Virginia all descend from Peter Rowlett who showed up in records of Henrico County, VA in the 1660's. There is not good documentation of when he arrived in the colony or who his parents were.
Thanks for your work, Leslie

Lodowick Hill Robison was my great grandfather. We have traced the Robisons to Southside Virginia in the 1720's, which is our dead end. You might take a look at "The Hills of Wilkes County, Georgia, Volume 2." It should be available through your local library using that inter-library exchange program.
Among LHR's children was John Lark Robison (named after LRH's brother). His son, John Conrad Robison, was my father.

Thanks so much for connecting profiles to the different cemeteries in Fayette County, Alabama. You've worked on a bunch of mine over the past week or so. Greatly appreciated!

And what evidence is there that Pete-144 is a daughter? Needs a citation (URL) to a birth record
"Texas Birth Index, 1903-1997," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:V816-3FM : 1 January 2015), Holly Aleece Thomas in entry for Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, 15 Feb 1995; from "Texas Birth Index, 1903-1997," database and images, Ancestry (http://www.ancestry.com : 2005); citing Texas Department of State Health Services.

Or, you can set up a link between the two on the mother Holly's profile, for Megan Thee Stallion Pete to direct attention to the parent / child relationship. This link can be removed in the event that someone does actually attach the child Megan to the mother Holly.
On the other hand since Megan is still alive, there may be some WT Policy barring the way to having the two profiles attached
And it's possible the matter will remain unresolved until Megan the child is deceased also.
I really don't think there's more you can do about Holly and Megan. It's a bit frustrating not to have resolution. Someone should thank you for doing what you have, so I will do so: Thank you, Kevin.
It looks like you have been busy editing categories for profiles to add their cemetery - I got a message on about a dozen of the profiles I added/manage. I'm curious how you go about finding what profiles to update. I'm fairly new at WikiTree, so learning new things every day. If you're open to sharing, I would love to learn more. Thanks! Cheryl

Thank you for the info on Thomas Tate Tunstall. Although I already have this info, I am writing to you as I note your expressed interest in the genealogy of the Tunstall family.
By way of introduction, . I believe I may well be the current direct line living descendent of the Tunstalls of Thurland in the UK (although not necessarily always through the eldest son in each generation) still carrying the family name. With my cousin in the UK, I have been researching the Tunstalls of Thurland over the last 12 or so years and have inevitably extended my research into other branches of the family and other associated families.
The result of this research is a compilation in three volumes - with anecdotes, portraits and (more recently) photos, where available - which I have written on the various Tunstall Family Tree(s) starting with Copsi de Tunstall (c.1036) who is reported, although unconfirmed, to have accompanied William the Conqueror on his invasion of England and is also reported, equally unconfirmed, as being illustrated on the Bayeux tapestry alongside Duke William of Normandy prior to the Battle of Hastings (1066).
Volume 1: (currently approx. 427 pages*) - from Copsi de Tunstall (c.1036- ?) – Lord of Tunstall, Lancashire - to date and including references to the Parr, Boleyn and Constable families.
Volume 2: (currently approx. 358 pages*) - the Tunstalls in Virginia, USA, from their apparent beginnings in the 17th century – from Richard Todd Tunstall, born 1603 in England; died 1658 in King & Queen (ex-New Kent), Virginia.
Volume 3: (currently approx. 305 pages*) - other Tunstall family lines: (1) a Tunstall line in Staffordshire from 1607, including those who emigrated to Wisconsin and Minnesota in the 1850’s and Australia and New Zealand in the 1920’s. (2) a line of Tunstalls who emigrated from the UK to Canada in around 1780. (3) other Tunstalls traced in the USA (Tennessee, North Carolina and Kentucky). (4) an account of Lincoln County cattleman John Henry Tunstall (1853-1878) and his employee, the famous (or infamous) William Bonney (“Billy the Kid”). (5) some references to Tunstalls transported on the prison-ships to Australia and Tasmania.
However, it must be emphasised that any affiliation of the lines stated in volume 3 above to that of the Tunstalls of Thurland has yet to be ascertained and confirmed.
I am hoping eventually to find a publisher for this in view of a private circulation to family members or any other interested parties. However, I may well offer this trilogy directly by private distribution to Family members and/or interested parties at a current estimated price of GBP £150 (approx. USD $180) per volume + post and package according to country of destination (discounted to GBP £340 (approx. USD $415 for an order for all three volumes). Please let me know if you are interested in this proposition – details have yet to be finalised and made available later.
I do hope we may be able to explore jointly the Tunstall family history and, if you agree, please do not hesitate to contact me through my personal mail address: [email address removed] .
I am particularly interested in finding out who is (or are) the current Tunstall "title-holder(s)" of the family name in the USA. Any other Tunstall family information, however, will be greatly appreciated.
Born in the UK, I have dual French and British nationalities and have lived permanently in France since the mid-1970's. After over 30 years spent in Paris, I now live in France on the Normandy coast, approximately 10 kms from where William's invasion force set off in 1066. The wheel has turned full circle ……….
I shall indeed greatly look forward to hearing from you.
Yours very sincerely,
Martin Cuthbert Tunstall 1942 – living (mail: [email address removed] - seealso www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tunstall-56
Thanks for having a Big Heart and adopting Orphan Profiles. You will want to read this After adopting orphans FAQ to understand what to do next and it explains the special attention those profiles need.

Just wanted to say HEY when I saw that you were from Alabama. I was born and raised in Auburn. I have been working on a lot of Etowah County cemeteries and fixin' to start on the Gadsden area cemeteries. Let me know if I can help with anything in the southeast part of the States! I've been using the report that Ales made for cemeteries. Here is the link if you don't already know about it. https://wikitree.sdms.si/Categories/FindAGraveCemeteries/default.htm

Worrisome in a way since WT is mostly devoted to profiling dead people and to have a living person profiled "in reserve" so to speak, awaiting the event of their death, that's ... worrisome IMO😀 Spooky, in fact.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
Reminder: Find a Grave Memorials and family trees from other web sites do not meet the standards for Pre-1700 profiles.
