Donald Gene Cross was born on 23 Feb. 1940 at Cooke Co., Texas, USA.^[1][2] He appeared on the census of 18 April 1940 in the household of his parents, Leonard Fay Cross and Virgie Rita (Isbell) Cross, at Cooke County, Texas, USA.^[3]

He married Mary Jo Welch on 3 Sep. 1966 at Dallas Co., Texas. He and Mary Jo Welch were divorced on 8 July 1971 at Dallas County, Texas.^[4][2]

He married Maxine Elaine Siegel, daughter of Harry J. Siegel and (--?--) Russin, circa 1972.^[2]

Donald died on 1 July 1993 at Austin, Travis Co., Texas, at age 53^[5] and was buried at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery and Mausoleum, Austin, Travis Co., Texas. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and a link to that of his wife, Maxine.^[6]
