Biography
Alva was born about 1827. He was the son of Ethan Cross and Anna Hugoboom.
Alva married Sarah Ann Betts on 23 Dec 1846 in Perrysburg, Cattaraugus county, New York.[citation needed] They had a large family.
Alva, wife Sarah (aka Sally), and their son Ethan were living with his parents in Girard township, Erie, Pennsylvania in 1850.[1] In 1860, 1870, and 1880, they were in in their own household in Girard township.[2][3][4]
He passed away in 1885.[5]
