Thomas Cross son of Thomas Cross and his wife, Elizabeth Chadwick was baptised at St Oswald in Flamborough on 1 April 1759. [1]
He married Margaret Slater at St Oswald on 1 December 1784. [2]
At the 1841 Census Thomas was living alone, but still fishing. [3] He died later in the year [4] and was buried at St Oswald on 27 September. [5]
"To the memory of Thomas Cross who died September 25th 1841 aged 84 years. Also Margaret wife of the above who died April 11th 1836 aged 77 years. A mother in Israel is gone. Also John Cross, son of the above who died on his passage from Lisbon September 7th 1821 and was buried here aged 35 years. Also Thomas Cross son of the above who died in Plymouth Hospital September 16th 1838......." [6]
