"Bonnie Cross Davis, age 84, of Depot Street in Greensburg passed away Friday, June 15, 1990 at the T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow after a long illness. She was born May 22,1906 in Cumberland County, the daughter of the late Joe and Mary Lee Cambell Cross. She was a housewife and a member of the Jesus' Name Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Godfrey Davis, and two sons, Keith and Harley Davis. She is also survived by three daughters, Mary England, Campbellsville, Dorothy Finn, Louisville, and Imogene Vaughn, Crittenden; three sons, R.C. Davis, Greensburg, Gerald Davis, Greensburg, and Malcolm Davis, Campbellsville; 19 grand children, 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Carlie Cross, Indiana; and two sisters, Dell; Smith, Indiana, and Gladys Brookshire, Indiana. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, June 17, at 1 p.m. at the Warren F. Tole: Memorial Chapel by Elder Rueal Boils. Burial was in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Terry Young Bruce Games, Dean Faulkner Terry Perkins, John Boone James Davis and Bennie Finn." (findagrave) [3]
