William Cross was a twin. He and his brother, John, were the sons of Thomas Cross and his wife, Elizabeth Chadwick, baptised at St Oswald in Flamborough, Yorkshire on the10th of February 1765. [1] They did not survive and were buried together on the 21st of June. [2]
