Louisa was born about 1873 in St Luke, London, England.[1] She married William Frost ALLERTON in 1902 in Leyton, Essex.[2]
In 1911, the couple lived at 11 Lea Bridge Gardens with their four children and Louisa's brother, Alfred. William gave his occupation as a self-employed "nurseryman and florist."[1] Lea Bridge Gardens has been described as a "bungalow shanty-town... consisting of wooden houses or shacks with wells and earth closets. Residents reared livestock and undertook market gardening."[3]
