No birth registry exists for Bartholomew; but, he leaves a Will, probated, 28, February 1584. Audrey was 17 years old when she married, and 24 years old when Bartholomew died. Being a wealthy woman, and young, no matter how many previous children, she was very suitable for any Suiter. Robert Best died on 5, January 1588, in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. Robert and Audrey had two children, Thomas Best, who only lived eight days in 1585 and Marian Best born in 1587. [2]

Sir Myles Sandys (2nd Ba.) was the son of Sir Myles Sandys, 1st Baronet of Wilburton. Sir Myles Sandys (1st Ba.) brothers were Sir Edwin Sandys, Knight; creator of the headright system in Virginia and the Treasurer of the Virginia Company, and George Sandys, poet, and Treasurer of the Jamestown Colony from 1621-1623. His residence was the Treasurer’s Plantation in Surry County, VA, one of the sites of the Good Friday Massacre. Sir Miles Sandys (1st Ba.) died 29, April 1645, in Isle of Ely, Cambridgeshire.
