Biography
John Patterson was born in 1855. He is the son of |John Crossan]] and Agnes McIntosh.
About his father:: Robert Berrie's biological parents were young when he was born, and Robert was given to his mother's sister to raise. She was Jean Lamont who had married John Crossan. Robert was raised as John Crossan, and why they changed their name to Berrie on arrival in Australia is unknown." From a note by Kaye Clarke, widow of Wayne Clarke who was a descendent of John and Agnes. May 2021.
