Biography

Henry Cross was born in 1717 in Anne Arundel, Maryland, United States, a son of John Crosse, and brother of George Crosse [half], William Crosse [half], John Cross Jr and Joseph Crosse.

Henry married Mrs. Mary Sinclair (Barrett) Royston, the daughter of John Barrett and Alice Bryan and widow of John Royston, who died before 21 April 1740. Mary brought as many as seven children to the marriage. ^[1] Children of Henry and Mary include:

• Henry Cross, Jr. born December 12, 1739, in Baltimore, Maryland ^[2]

• Rebecca Cross, married Abraham Norris, on January 22, 1783, in Baltimore, Maryland. ^[3]
