Peter was a Friend (Quaker)

Peter Cross was born in 1647 at Woodbridge, Suffolk, England. He was the son of Quakers Edmond Cross and Sarah Rogers.[1]

Peter Cross was married to Elizabeth Peckover in 1688.[2] Here is their original Quaker marriage certificate, signed by many relatives and friends:

Peter's siblings?
wrong! Edmond's wife Sarah Mason abt 1650-1705 (Edmond brother of Peter). so
there are 4 Sarah Cross's and only one in the marriage record that we can be
certain exactly who is. and I just canceled out Sarah who m. Jonathan
Seaman, she died in 1681.

In the Name of God Amen I ***Peter Cross*** of Kelsale in the County of Suffolk Grocer being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and Testament in manner and form following ffirst and principally I commend my Soul to God hoping through the merits of my blessed Redeemer to receive free parden for all my Sins my Body I give to the Earth to be decently intered at the discretion of my Executrix herein after named and as to the worldly Estate which it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I dispose of the Same as followeth Item all my Messuages Lands Tenement Hereditaments and ___________ with the Appertences now in my occupation Situate lying and being in Kelsale aforesaid and the Messuages lands Tenements and ___________ appertenences Situate lying and being in Ike in the said County and now in the occupation of _Henry Rurtin_ or his Assigns I will to be sold by my Extixe herein after named within 12 months next after my decease and the residue of the money arising by Such Sale after my Debts Legacies ffuneral charges and probate of this my Will are payed and discharged I Give Bequeath and devise unto ***Elizabeth*** my loving Wife ffor the Term of her natural Life and after her decease be Equally divided between ***Edmond Joseph Margaret Sarah Catherine John and Benjamin*** my Sons and Daughters She my said Wife paying unto my said Sons and Daughters twenty shillings a peace of lawfull Money of Great Britain within two months next after my decease Item all my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I Give and devise unto the said ***Elizabeth*** my wife and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint her the said ***Elizabeth*** my wife sole Extrixe of this my last Will and Testament and do hereby require my said son ***Joseph*** to be aiding and assisting her in the exocution thereof thereby revoking and disanuling all former and other will and Wills by me made and I do Declare this to be my Last Will contained in One Sheet of paper to which I have set my seal & subscribed my Name this twenty Nine day of September in the third year of the Reign of our Sov'agn Lord George by the grace of God of Great Britain ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the faith Ano Dmo 1716
