Lila Mable Crossman was born on 17 February 1896, the daughter of Ada Mary Bouffler and Arthur Bruce Crossman. Her birth was registered at Orange, NSW.[1] She was the first of six children.
Lila Mable Pearce (Crossman) passed away on 3 September 1971. Her death was registered in Orange, NSW. [4] She was survived by her husband, Horace, and at least one child who is still living, and several grandchildren who are still living.
Canon Taylor officiated at a quiet wedding at Holy Trinity Church of England, early on Saturday morning, the contracting parties being Lila Mary, eldest daughter of Mrs. Crossman and the late Mr. A. B. Crossman, of Autumn and March Streets, and Horace, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pearce, of Rosedale. Mr. F. Crossman was best man. The bride, who was away by her uncle, Mr. H. V. Crossman, was charmingly gowned in grey marocain with hat to tone, and carried an ivory-bound prayer-book. Miss Edna Crossman bridesmaid, was attired in blue marocain, with hat to tone, and carried a posy of carnations and sweet peas. The reception was held at the residence of the bride's mother ...
