At that time Winifred, born 18 April 1910, was aged 29. She was working at the Municipal Maternity Home (Princess Royal), Greenhead Road, Huddersfield, Yorkshire as a maternity nurse. Sister Edith was also working there. Winifred's surname was later amended to Jones, her married surname.
Winifred Crossman married Thomas Clifford Jones [Marriage Dec Qtr 1946/Middleton 10e 1200].
This couple had a daughter.
It is believed Winifred Jones died on 10 December 1991 aged 81 years [Death Dec 1991/Sheffield, Yorkshire 3 1411 – DOB 18 Apr 1910].
