Biography

George was the son of Emma Burton Pickard and Samuel Crossman. Samuel Crossman was an immigrant from Surrey, England and married Emma Burton Pickard, eldest daughter of Israel Pickard in 1877 at Nelson. George Crossman married Clara Nock on Xmas Eve at Nelson Cathedral in 1914. He died in 1958 age 79 and is buried at Hamilton Park cemetery, Hamilton
