Biography

Stanley was born in Newfane, Niagara, New York, United States, on June 1, 1876. His parents were John Crossman and Sarah C. (Unknown). He was enumerated in the 1880 cesus [1] residing with his parents and three siblings in Newfane. In 1900, [2] He was enumerated as brother in law in household of Frederick F. Barnum. (Husband of sister Maud).

He married Winifred Kate Teague on March 10, 1903, in Buffalo, Erie, New York. The couple would have at least three children, Marjorie, about 1906, Frances, about 1909, and Virginia, about 1918. He was enumerated in the 1915 [3] and 1925 New York census [4] as well as the 1910, [5] 1920, [6] 1930, [7] and 1940 U.S. census [8] residing with his wife and children in Wilson.

Stanley passed away on March 7, 1946, in Wilson.[9] He was buried in Wilson at Greenwood Cemetery.[10]
