Biography

Arthur Crossman was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

Arthur Bruce Crossman was born on 11 Nov 1864 at Erskine Flat, Sofala, NSW, the son of George Crossman and Ann Shervey.[1] He was the seventh of 12 children.

Arthur Bruce Crossman, son of George Crossman and Ann Shervey, married Ada Mary Bouffler, daughter of Robert Rowland Bouffler and Catherine Francess/Francis, at Orange on 31 August 1892.[2] They had six children.

His father's obituary in 1912, noted that Arthur was "the well-known [commercial] traveller for Dalton Bros., Ltd."[3][4]

Arthur Bruce Crossman passed away on 22 Mar 1923 at Orange, NSW.[5][4] He was survived by

    —After an illness of comparatively short duration, the death has occurred of Mr. Arthur Bruce Crossman at the age of 5? years. The deceased, who leaves a widow and family of six, was manager for many years of Dalton Brothers' produce department. He was an officer of Holy Trinity Church, and a prominent member of the Ancient Order of Foresters.
