Biography

1) William Goodwin was born October 15, 1776, married August 12, 1796, Abigail Croswell, born January 20, 1774, daughter of Caleb and Hannah (Kellogg) Croswell of West Hartford, Conn. William Goodwin was by trade a clothier and resided at Pine Meadow in the town of New Hartford. He died April 20, 1849 and his widow Abigail Croswell Goodwin died June 16, 1852. p. 248
