He was on the 1850 Butler, Mercer county, Ohio census with his parents and siblings.[1]
During the Civil War, he served in Company K, 40th Ohio Infantry[2] and Company K, 51st Regiment, Ohio infantry.[3] His widow filed for a pension when he passed away in 1916.
He married Margaret Redmon on 21 Apr 1864 in Mercer county, Ohio.[4] They had seven children.
David and Margaret were on the 1880 census in Butler, Mercer, Ohio.[5] They were on the 1900 census in Celina, Mercer, Ohio.[6] Margaret was listed as the mother of seven children with three surviving.
He passed away in 1916 in Celina, Mercer, Ohio.[7]
