July 1718. Ann Toadvine Crouch, wife of John Crouch was listed in therecords of Stepney Parish as having an illegitimate child by Thomas Stevens. John Crouch was listed as surety. In 1731, after the death of John Crouch, Nicholas showed up in Ann's household. John's Will only recognized his wife , his daughter, John, Isaac and Anne. On June 11, 1761, Nicholas, aged about 46 was a witness for his brother, John relative to a boundry marker ;of the Land called Crouches desire.
