Artie was born in 1934. She was the daughter of Elmer Elwood Crouch and Mattie Junious Myrick. She passed away in 2018.
She was the mother of four children.
She died in 2018 and is buried next to O. E. Dixson at the Fakes Chapel Cemetery north of McCrory in Woodruff County, Arkansas.
