Frances was born in 1921 in Indiana. She was the daughter of John Marshall Crouch and Rosa Elizabeth (Cox) Romine (1900-1990). Both her parents were married multiple times. In 1930, when she was 9, she was not living with either parent. She was listed as a boarder is someone else's home. [1] In 1940, she was living at Indianapolis City Hospital as a student nurse. [2]
She married Earl Dickenson in 1946. She did not have children. He divorced her in 1969. Shortly after the divorce, her husband Earl married someone else. She moved to Florida in 1983. She then married Leland Potts in 1971. She passed away in 1987 in Florida.[3] She is buried along with her husband, Leland, in Forest Lawn, Johnson County, Indiana.
