Biography

Benjamin Crouch is a part of US Black heritage.

Benjamin was the son of James Crouch and Pearl Gilmore.^[1]

His wife was Catherine Dorothea Hodnett. They were married in 1939.^[2] She had worked as administrator at Christ Memorial for many years.

He was the father of sons Benjamin Jerome Crouch, Jr. and twins Andrae and Sandra Crouch, Grammy Award winning Gospel singers.

Benjamin was a longtime resident of Pacoima, Los Angeles, California. He founded that city's Christ Memorial Church of God in Christ.

He studied at Wilberforce University in Ohio and the Biola Bible Institute in Los Angeles.
