Biography
William was born in 1818. He was the son of Joshua Crouch and Mary Resseguie.
From William's Find a Grave Memorial:
- Civil War Soldier. Company I, 186th New York Infantry Regiment.
William H Crouch along with his son Samuel served in the Civil War [Union]. William was with Co. I 186th NY Vol. Infantry. His son Samuel died in Virginia while in service and is buried at Lakeside Cemetery, with his mother Jane Chaffee Crouch and his brother Wilbur Crouch.
He passed away in 1893.
