Emma Blanche Crouse was born on 25 Jan 1888 ^[1][2] in Ludlow, McKean, PA. in Ludlow, McKean, PA.^[3]

Emma Blanche's parents were: Elizabeth Catharine (Stokes) Crouse (1855-1907) (1855-1907) ^[1] and Lorenzo Theodore Crouse (abt.1853-).^[4][3]

On 6 Jun 1900 Blanche E (12) and her brother David Lorenzo Crouse (abt.1891-aft.1965) (8) were living with 2 older half siblings Lemuel C Cady and Frances S Cady and their parents, Lorenzo T Crouse (47) and Elizabeth C Stokes (40), in Jones, Elk, PA.ref name="1900 US Census for Jones, Elk, PA" />

Four years later at about age 16, Emma B. married Oscar Frederick Gustafson (1878-1957) on 30 May 1904 in Olean, New York, USA^[5]

Emma spent her time as a baker and housewife. Her residence was seeb as 50 Long Lane, Foster, McKean, Pennsylvania.^[3]

Emma Blanche Crouse Gustafson, who had suffered with carcinoma of the stomach with metastasis for about 6 months, died at the age of 70, on 14 May 1958 in Bradford, McKean, Pennsylvania, USA ^[3] and was placed to rest at the McKean County Memorial Park in Lafayette, McKean, PA.^[1]
