Biography
George Crouse was born on February 21, 1801 in Bachman Valley, Maryland, United States, son of Michael Crouse (1771–1843) and Maria Magdalena Yingling (~1783– ).
George married Elizabeth Weaver (born on November 17, 1800 in Reisterstown, Baltimore, Maryland; daughter of George Weaver and Mary Magdalena (Everhart) Weaver). Their son was Edwin Henry Crouse (1832–1920).

George died on July 24, 1868 in Manchester, Carroll, aged 67.[2]
