Biography

John Benton Crowe was born in Tennessee in 29 October 1866. He married Amanda Hooper in Hickman County, Tennessee on December 18, 1887. They had 6 children before Amanda passed away 1902. On August 17, 1902, John married Hettie T. McFarlin. They had 10 children together. The family moved to Mississippi in approximately 1919, settling in Bolivar County, along with other families from the Hickman County area, including Littons and Coopers.
