DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Nancy by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Nancy:
Crow-3776 and Crow-1925 do not represent the same person because: A little research shows that Nancy Crow (1925) belongs in the family of George Crow as was originally profiled. She was just not the Nancy Crow who married Stephenson. Nancy Crow was a name carried down in the Crow families and there were many of them. My guess is that she was the Nancy Crow born about 1815 who married Robert Butler. There were 2 Nancy Crows that married Butlers. More research needs to be done on the all of these Crow families.
Thank you.
