There were several issues in this profile which have been addressed somewhat. Place of birth was given as Mercer Kentucky. No such place existed in 1742. Walter Crow did have a daughter Mary but this woman is not she.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Polly by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Polly:
Mary Crow married Benjamin Underwood who died in 1778. About 1779 she married Morias Hansbrough. She died 19 Jan 1818 in Shelby County, Kentucky. She has a very interesting story. With her children she was part of the Jacob Van Meter flotilla to Louisville, Kentucky in the Fall of 1779. For verification of her second marriage see the will of Walter Crow, 1789, Rockingham, Virginia.
Crow-886 and Crow-230 appear to represent the same person because: These two profiles are apparently intended to represent the same woman. The birth year and place of birth are the same. They have the same exact spouse. They also are connected to the same parents (Crow-2221 and Miller-3111).
The only difference in these two profiles is the death place and date. Neither profile has any evidence for the date or place of death.
Crow-886 has only a broken link to an Ancestry tree. Crow-230 has a link to a private Ancestry tree and a broken link to Ancestry. The death needs to be resolved with evidence. Until this is resolved, the profiles should be set as Unmerged matches. Research can then be started to resolve the discrepancy.
Crow-886 and Crow-230 do not represent the same person because: NOT THE SAME. As I stated before, their time and place of death are too far off to accurately merge the two. Their husband, died in 1778 in Virginia. Until more accurate information can be obtained and posted proving that the death dates and places are one or the other, I will not merge. The purpose of collaboration on merges takes actual proof one or the other is correct and I have not seen that. NO MERGE.
I do not know who Pip Sheppard is or what relation he/she has to the family (probably none) but no documentation has been afforded proving why this match should go forward and which death info is the correct one.

Crow-230 and Crow-886 are not ready to be merged because: These may be the same persons with the exception of the date and place of death. Need more documentation of the death.
Crow-230 and Crow-886 appear to represent the same person because: same name, same birth place, same year, husband Underwood died same place and same time, some of the children went back to Kentucky. MERGE OR unmerged match ok
