• Isabella was born in 1888 in Chatham Township, Kent County, Ontario, Canada

• in 1891 she was living with parents, 2 brothers and 7 half siblings ^[1]

• 1901 she is still in Chatham Township with parents, brothers George and Alfred and half sister Alice Salisbury ^[2]

• about 1906 she married Alvin Merritt. ^[3]

• in 1911 they had a grocery store around Kent Bridge, Ontario, Canada also with them a daughter Olive 1904 and Alvin's mother Ann Jane 1844. Alvin is gone shortly after this ^[4]

• she marries Orville A Card on 24 June 1912 at Oil Springs, Ontario, Canada. His parents are Marshall Card and Elizabeth Vanduzen. (uses the name Belle Merritt, index error - Spouse's Mother's Name- Mary Earl, Sarah Mceathern is witness) ^[5]

• In the 1921 census, "Isabel" and Orval are living in Chatham Township, Kent, Ontario. They have children "Ollive" age15, Pheobe age 8, Kenneth age 6, and Morley age 3 at home. ^[6]
