Biography

Marion Richard Crowder aka Pickens, was born on March 9, 1835 in Mississippi. he was the son of Eli Crowder and Patsy Goins.

He married Frannie Crowder.

He and Fanny were living in Choctow Nation, Indian Territory in 1900, where he was a farmer, with their grand daugter, Fannie-16, in the home.[1]

He married Mary Ellen Kelley on December 24, 1901. They had 2 children.

  1. William "Willie" Crowder (1904-)
  2. Mattie Crowder (1908-1993)

At age 75, he and Mary-30 were living in Oakes, Choctaw, Oklahoma, in 1910, with their children, William-6, and Mattie-1.[2] and were still there in 1920.[3]

He died on July 19, 1921, at the age of 86, in Oklahoma, and was buried in the Honey Springs, Cemetery' in Choctaw County, Oklahoma.

Research Notes

Seriously doubt these census sources. Children Willie and Mattie were born in 1856 & 1858, their mother was born in 1835. McClintock-715 04:40, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
