Biography

His father owned the general store in Newbridge. He might have gone to the USA but he returned. He and his wife "Ginty" inherited the store. Great grandson Chris Hyes ran the store under the name of "C, Hyes & Son" in the 1960s. He is buried in Newbridge Cemetery.

Research Notes

In doing Data Doctors work, I found that his son was born in Ireland, so presumably Thomas's place of birth entered as Newbridge is Newbridge, County Galway, Ireland. Presumably Newbridge Cemetery entered when profile was created is in Ireland. I couldn't find sources on FamilySearch.Lansing-1003 11:23, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
