Seth Wilson Crowell was born November 22, 1822, the son of Paul Crowell and Deborah Wilson of Barrington, Shelburne, NS^[1] .

Seth married Jerusha daughter of John Hopkins^{[1] [2]}. Seth died in 1883^[3].
