Biography
Polly (Crowell) Howes was born in 1800, daughter of Ezra Crowell (1765 - 1837) and Bathsheba (Smith) Crowell (1766 - 1817).
Her siblings were:
- Theophilus Crowell (1790 - 1860)
- Thomas Crowell (1801 - 1808)
- Reliance (Crowell) Atwood (1803 - 1857)
- Barbara J (Crowell) Howes (1807 - 1883)
Polly married Stephen Howes, son of Stephen Howes and Lydia Harding.[1]
Polly died on 10 Mar 1838 aged ~37. She is buried in Chatham Old Burial Ground, Chatham, Massachusetts.
