Biography

William was born in 1845. He was the son of John Crowell and Hannah Youngs. In the 1850 census William (age 5) was in Colesville, Broome, New York, United States.^[1] In the 1860 census William was in Colesville, Broome, New York.^[2]

In the 1870 census Willia (age 24), Farmer, was in Irvington, Kossuth, Iowa.^[3] In the 1885 census William (age 39) was married in Storm Lake, Buena Vista, IA.^[4] In the 1910 census Wm (age 64), Optometrist, was the married head of household in Independence Ward 2, Buchanan, Iowa, United States.^[5]

William died on 30 September 1915. He was buried in Independence, Buchanan County, Iowa, United States.^[6]
