Birth

Thomas Crowell, the son of Yelverton Crowell and Elizabeth Unknown, was born 9 May 1649 (twin of Elizabeth) in Yarmouth, Massachusetts.[1][2][3][4][5]

Marriage

Thomas Crowell married a woman named Deborah about 1684.[4]

Death

Thomas died before 27 Nov 1728, the date his will was probated.[16]

Will

Will dated 2 Jul 1722 and probated 27 Nov 1728[17] at Yarmouth lists 5 sons and 3 daughters as follows: Isaac, who received his land, Ebenezer and Elisha as executors, Seth and Thomas; Mary Basset, Deborah Parker and Thankful Lewis. Thomas was executor of his father's will and the recipient of his estate with provision for his mother. At some point in time the estate was obtained by his brother John for it was left to John's son Ephraim. Thomas must have had more than one tract of land as he left property to his son Isaac also.

Seeking some clarity about his date of death.

Profile data reports his death 22 Apr 1723 in Yarmouth, Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay. Narrative reports he died before his will (dated 22 Jul 1722) was proved, 27 Nov 1728,

Father's profile, Yelverton Crowell reports Thomas died 22 April 1722. (Based on the comment that his will was dated still later, I plan to update the entry on his father's profile to 22 April 1723, but is there a source for that date.)
