Biography

Polly "Croxford" Crawford was born^[1] about 1778. The death record^[2] of Ann (Veazie) Hardwick lists Ann's parents as Eli Veazie and Polly Crawford. That record lists Polly's birthplace as "Boston."

Polly Croxford(sic) married Eli Veazie in Boston, Massachusetts, Apr 20, 1802.

Polly's Boston Death record^[3] lists her age at death 45, at 21 Charter St. She is listed as dying in "childbed."

Further Research

A clue to Polly's parentage may be the Sarah Crawford, age 79, born Massachusetts, that resided in the household of Eli C and Mary W Bliss (son-in-law and daughter of Polly Veazie), recorded in the 1855 state census for Chelsea, Massachusetts.
