Hi Valerie, I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago and hadn't heard back. Sometimes they go to spam. If you don't see the message, please let me know and I'll resend. Thanks! Emma~~Adoption Angels
You can also use the Help menu in the upper right corner of every page to get to the G2G Forum to ask questions about how to use WikiTree in your adoption search, or find some basic adoption search help here.
By adding your branches to our shared tree, there may be an opportunity for someone to find you, AND adding your branches and working to source and confirm that information will get you closer to the end of your search.
We've made a change in how the tutorials are sent to new members. Instead of weekly messages you can now work at your own pace, so this is the last message.
How is it going so far? Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?
We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. You can always find a link that works in the public comments on your profile.
This week, we'd like to show you How to Join in the Community. There's no shortage of opportunities to get involved through social media, our forum, and projects.
Be sure to check out the One Name Studies Project to see if anyone has started a project for one of the surnames in your family. Don't see one? Follow the instructions for starting your own!
Questions?, Just ask!! :-)
PS. Some email accounts do display the link, if so please view here on your personal page.
You've been here a week now, and we hope you enjoyed your first stop on your guided tour of WikiTree and were able to make good use of the things you learned.
If the link doesn't work in your email, you can find it in the public comments on your profile page. As always, your questions are welcome! Check out our g2g forum at: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/
Hi Valerie, Congratulations on completing your research on birth parents. Glad for you.
I too am following adoption tag closely. Maybe this can be helpful for my adopted son. But also helpful for me, daughter of adopted parents. Research puts me in touch with grandparents I didn't know anything about.
Welcome to this wonderful site !
I'm a member of the Mentor project, and I just wanted to check in and see how things are going.
Hope you had lots of fun reading "How to Start Climbing Our Tree".
I would be happy to answer any relevant questions you have, please feel free to ask!
Valerie, you are now a confirmed member of WikiTree. As we've said, WikiTree is quite different from other genealogy sites. So, we've put together a guided tour to help you learn how to use it. Your first stop is How to Start Climbing Our Tree. Next week, you'll get another message with your next stop on the guided tour.

Our G2G forum is a great way to get to know our community! Join the fun with our Question of the Week: Were any of your ancestors involved in the American Indian Wars?
Tomorrow, you'll hear from a Mentor who will check in to see how you're doing and answer any questions you might have.
Thanks for becoming part of our shared WikiTree!
