Biography
William was born April 1880 in Edinburgh, Scotland.[1] He was the son of John J. Cruickshank and Eleanora Awde .
He married first Catherine Roeser on 27 August 1899 in Manhattan, New York.[2] They apparently divorced before Catherine remarried in 1914.[3]
He married second Sarah Lillian (Pinder) Schleppy , as her second husband, circa 1919–20 in Miami.[4] Sarah and William divorced in 1935,[5] though they apparently were already separated by 1930.[6]
William died on 4 October 1940 in Miami, Florida.[7]
