Biography

William was born April 1880 in Edinburgh, Scotland.[1] He was the son of John J. Cruickshank and Eleanora Awde.

He married first Catherine Roeser on 27 August 1899 in Manhattan, New York.[2] They apparently divorced before Catherine remarried in 1914.[3]

He married second Sarah Lillian (Pinder) Schleppy, as her second husband, circa 1919–20 in Miami.[4] Sarah and William divorced in 1935,[5] though they apparently were already separated by 1930.[6]

William died on 4 October 1940 in Miami, Florida.[7]
