Don was born Dec. 18, 1935, in Haskell. His strong faith led him to serve as a missionary working for All Church Press writing Bible studies and ministering in Australia and Africa. Don loved the Lord and never let an opportunity pass without talking about Jesus. Even in his final days, he would meet and minister to others.

He loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns and professional golf. Don met the love of his life, Diane, and got married in 1980. He spent the last 30 years devoting his life to his family, who he held so dear.

Survivors: Wife, Diane Crump; daughters, Traci Bailey and husband, Randy, and Teresa Bourn and husband, David; sons, Kevin Crump and wife, Barbara, and Troy Bickerstaff and wife, Teresa; grandson, Brian Bourn and wife, Rebecca; granddaughters, Andrea Bourn and Lauren, Lindsey and Laine Bailey; great-granddaughter, Natalie Bourn; and brother, Leon Crump.
