Biography

Caroline Crumpton was born on 22 January 1814 at Richmond, New South Wales, Australia [1], and was christened on 20 March 1814[2] the daughter of Thomas Crump and Mary Johnson.

She had a half brother from her mother's marriage to Edward Webb, George Webb [Half], 2 half brother's from her father's marriage to Mary Harrison, Thomas Crumpton [Half] and Isaac Crump [Half], 7 siblings from her parent's relationship, Maria Crump [Half], Arthur Benjamin Crumpton [Half], Harriet Crump [Half], Francis Crumpton [Half], Samuel Crump [Half], Charles Crumpton [Half] and Hannah Crump [Half], and 3 siblings from her mother's marriage to William Lake [Half], William John Lake [Half], Louisa Lake [Half] and Thomas Lake [Half][3].

She married Patrick Savage on 3 October 1836 in the St Matthew's Catholic Church, Windsor, New South Wales, Australia [4]. Patrick died on 14 October 1849 when about 51 years old and there were no children from this marriage.

Caroline then married Thomas Brown on 15 September 1851 in in the St Matthew's Catholic Church, Windsor, New South Wales, Australia [5]. There were no children from this marriage.

Caroline died on 9 August 1881 in North Richmond, New South Wales, Australia [6] [7] and she was buried on 10 August 1881 in the Richmond Episcopalian Cemetery.
