He was living with his parents and siblings in Hamilton, Mercer, New Jersey in 1870 and 1880.[2][3]
He married his cousin Mary Ellen Asay on 05 Apr 1886 at Trenton, Mercer, New Jersey.[4] They had three children, including a son Harvey who died in 1893.
They were in Orange, Essex, New Jersey in 1900.[5]
His wife passed away in 1902. He was boarding in Newark, Essex, New Jersey in 1910.[6]
In 1920, 1930 and 1940, he was living with his married daughter Jennie (Cubberley) Carsey and her husband and family in Orange, Essex, New Jersey.[7][8][9]
