He (Allen) died in Vermillion, Ohio, January 27, 1882. Mrs. Pelton died there, January 18, 1883. Children, born in Vermillion:
1: Lester Allen, born Sept. 5, 1829. A millwright in 1878, unmarried, and living in Comptonville, Yuba Co., California. In 1891, residence at Oakland, Cal.
2: Sarah, born Oct. 10, 1831.
3: Leverett Franklin, born Dec. 29, 1835; died Sept. 20, 1838.
4: Julia Antoinette, born Aug. 11, 1840; married Nov. 24, i860, Henry Wagner, formerly of New Haven, Conn. Residence, in 1878, at Vermillion, O. Children: Fanny A., Nelson D. and Ruth A. " [1]
