Biography

The baptism of Mary, daughter of James Cudworth, on 23 July 1637, was recorded in the records of Rev. John Lathrop.[1]

Mary married Robert Whitcomb (Whetcomb), on 9 Mar. 1660/1, after being convicted of "disorderly coming together without consent of parents and lawful marriage."[2]

Mary apparently died before her father wrote his will in 1681, as Cudworth gave Mary's four children "Israel Whetcomme, Robert, James and Mary" a one-sixth share of his estate, which was divided into six portions, one for each of his children.[3]
